Specialities

I specialise in helping adults who feel stuck, ungrounded, chaotic and who are ready for a shift. Those who want to heal from unresolved trauma and unprocessed pain using Root Cause Therapy.

A lot of our behaviours are built around our previous experiences, how we think, feel, communicate, and how we see the world. Each person will experience trauma differently. What may be traumatic for one person may not be as traumatic for another.

The healing journey asks courage of you. It can be hard and exhausting. But on the other side of that courage, you feel something genuinely shift - in your relationships, your nervous system, your sense of self. You can finally breathe.

I create a safe, regulated space where your nervous system can finally relax enough to process what’s been stuck. I guide you - never force you - to the root. And I stay present while your body does what it needs to do: release, rewire, reclaim.

Childhood Trauma

trauma as a child

Trauma doesn't just live in your memories — it lives in your nervous system, your body, your relationships. You might feel it as anxiety you can't explain, patterns you can't break, or a voice that says, “you're not good enough".

Root-Cause Therapy is for adults who've done talk therapy, but their body still holds the charge. It's not "what's wrong with you" — it's "what happened to you."

Trauma can look like: emotional unavailability | neglect | domestic violence | abuse | bullying | rejection | loss | abandonment | instability | cultural wounding.

If this resonates, you might notice: trust issues | repeating relationship patterns | feeling unsafe in your own skin | self-sabotaging | physiological symptoms - increased heart rate | sweating | chronic pain | gut issues.

Together we'll uncover what your body has been trying to tell you. We will connect with your inner child and provide them with the love, support, guidance that they never received at that time.

We'll process the stuck charge, rewire your nervous system, and help you reclaim your sense of safety and inner peace — at your pace.

Intergenerational Trauma

You're carrying more than just your own story. Intergenerational trauma is the unprocessed pain of previous generations living in your nervous system, your body, your relationships. Your ancestors weren't trying to hurt you — they were doing their best. The pain they couldn't process has been encoded into your biology. And now you're living it.‍ ‍

You might find yourself thinking: "Why do I keep choosing the same partners? Why can't I break this cycle? Why do I hear my parent's voice coming out of my mouth?"

Intergenerational trauma can look like: Repeating the same dynamics, you witnessed growing up | attracting partners who recreate familiar (but unhealthy) family patterns | parenting exactly like your parents — or rejecting everything they did | imposter syndrome or feeling undeserving | carrying shame that isn't yours | feeling like you're "breaking the rules" when you try something different.

The truth is: You're not responsible for what your ancestors couldn't heal. But you are responsible for whether you pass it on. Together, we'll release inherited pain, rewire ancestral patterns, and reclaim your choice — for yourself and the generations after you.

Limiting Beliefs and Self-Worth

When we experience childhood and intergenerational trauma, our nervous system doesn't just store the events — it stores conclusions about ourselves, others, and the world.

These become limiting beliefs: deeply held assumptions that feel like truth but are actually learned survival strategies. These beliefs formed as protective shields. When a caregiver was unpredictable, you learned "it's not safe to trust". When your needs were minimised, you concluded "my needs don't matter". When love felt conditional, you absorbed "I have to prove my worth". At the time, these beliefs helped you survive. But now, they keep you from your full potential.

They show up everywhere: in how you choose partners | how you work | how you ask for help | how you let yourself be seen | you people-please to earn love | you achieve to prove worth | you isolate to avoid abandonment.

Here's the healing part: Your beliefs aren't broken — they're just old. Through Root-Cause Therapy, we trace these beliefs back to their root, honour what they did for you, and create space for something new. "I'm not enough" becomes "I'm whole as I am"

Nervous System Regulation

When your body remembers what your mind forgot. Anxiety, stress, and feeling triggered aren't character flaws — they're nervous system responses. Your body is trying to protect you, often before your mind has even registered the threat. The problem? Your nervous system doesn't always know the difference between actual danger and perceived danger. A deadline can feel the same as a life-threatening situation. And so, your body reacts into fight -flight-freeze-fawn.

What it feels like: Heart racing | shallow breathing | constant worry | overwhelm | irritability | shame for 'overreacting' | numbness | avoiding situations | hypervigilance | people-pleasing | needing to control everything to feel safe.

What's actually happening: Your nervous system has detected a cue of threat — a tone of voice, a relational dynamic, uncertainty, a reminder of past hurt. These responses aren't happening because of now. They're happening because your nervous system is remembering something unresolved from your past.

Root-Cause Therapy goes beneath the surface to trace your triggers back to their origin, gently process stored emotions, and update old beliefs. This isn't about coping better — it's about releasing what's unfinished, so your nervous system finally knows: You're safe now.

NPE (Not Parent Expected) Discoveries

DNA results
When DNA rewrites your story.

Maybe you were curious about your heritage. Maybe someone let a secret slip. Maybe you had a gut feeling you didn’t quite belong. Something that whispered beneath the surface your whole life. Then the truth came out.

The father you thought you knew isn't your biological father. The family tree you grew up in doesn't match your DNA. The story you built your whole sense of self around was incomplete or untrue.

You're left with questions that shake your foundation:
Who am I? Who do I belong to? What else was a lie? Why didn't anyone tell me?

An NPE discovery isn't just about biology — it's about betrayal, belonging, and the shattering of your origin story.

You might have always felt different. Like you didn't quite fit in. Now you know why — and that clarity can feel both validating and devastating.

Through Root-Cause Therapy, we gently process:
The identity wound • The betrayal and trust rupture • The belonging wound • What you carry from lineage and what you can release • The rewrite — you get to choose what this means.

You didn't ask for this discovery. But you get to decide what it becomes.
